LSAW Carbon Steel Pipe, or Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded Carbon Steel Pipe, is a type of steel pipe characterized by its high strength, superior quality, and excellent welding performance. Below is a detailed analysis of LSAW Carbon Steel Pipe:

Manufacturing Process

LSAW pipes are produced using single sheets of medium-thickness steel plate as raw material. They are hot-rolled into pipe blanks through JCOE or UOE forming technology, and then welded using double-sided submerged arc welding with subsequent expansion. This manufacturing process results in LSAW pipes having a longitudinal weld seam, with both internal and external weld seams being formed by a single pass of submerged arc welding. After undergoing mechanical expansion, the internal stress of the pipe is reduced and evenly distributed, effectively preventing stress corrosion cracking. Additionally, the high dimensional accuracy facilitates easy welding construction at the site.
